Describing the Hybrids/Eggs group

The surfboards in this group are made for average sized waves and for recreational  surfing.  These surfboards catch waves easier than the typical shortboard.  While having wider outlines, the hybrids and eggs are not as "snappy" as a shortboard, but offer a smoother, more drawn out turn. Hybrids and eggs are really fun for the average surfer, as well as those with years of surfing experience.

These surfboards work very well using epoxy foam

construction and are also much easier to carry to the beach.
