The alternative boards are a mixture of modern and retro style surfboards that have been created to accomodate individual styles of surfing as well as the many types of wave shapes and conditions. Not everyone surfs the same and not every surfer has to surf a standard shape of surfboard. These new curvier shapes have opened up a whole new world of surfing for individuals that want to express themselves through their surfing.
